The plan includes reasonable goals, behaviour alteration, family collaboration, and management of exercise. Self incentive is very necessary in loosing weight. Because obesity is more a family problem and not an individual problem, all the family can swap over to eating sensible food and exercising frequently. This may make the weight control program a hit. Elders and peers can play a big part by increasing the self-worth of their kids by focussing on their strengths and inspiring them, rather than targeting the weight problem. Everyone should eat meals together, rather than eating individually while watching a picture. This helps all the members to target the food and the quantity being eaten. If the teen isn't getting support from his folks members, he / she will join support groups which can help towards the goals. After the teen has shed pounds, it is vital that he / she maintains it.

In majority of the cases, folks shift back to their old dieting habits after loosing weight. That's why obesity is more of an entire life issue. So that the main purpose of any weight management program must be make the teen like sensible food. He / she must also be made to exercise continually, regardless of the weight.
